The New Venture Championship (NVC) is the original six-round venture competition. Now celebrating its 30th year, NVC was founded by the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business to help students make their business plans a reality. Students are invited to register to compete in a fully virtual competition for cash awards and to gain recognition with angel investors to get their business off the ground.
This is the moment when scholastic experience transfers to real-world opportunities. Students receive feedback from world class business professionals to help turn their business plan into a successful venture.
Mission: NVC promotes the development of skilled and knowledgeable entrepreneurial leaders who will successfully confront the ever-changing business environment with creative and innovative solutions.
Competitors: students from the top business programs worldwide are invited to compete. Previously, teams have come from all over the U.S. as well as far away as Hong Kong and Thailand.
