The New Venture Championship (NVC) is the original six-round venture competition for graduate students. Now celebrating its 28th year, NVC was founded by the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business to help graduate students make their business plans a reality. MBA students are invited to register to gather and compete in Portland, Oregon for cash awards and to gain recognition amongst angel investors to get their business off the ground.

This is the moment when scholastic experience transfers to real-world opportunities. Students receive feedback from world class business professionals to help turn their business plan into a successful venture.

Mission: NVC promotes the development of skilled and knowledgeable entrepreneurial leaders who will successfully confront the ever-changing business environment with creative and innovative solutions.

Competitors: MBA students from the top business programs worldwide are invited to compete. Previously, teams have come from all over the U.S. as well as far away as Hong Kong and Thailand.
